The Medium M4 (Sherman IB) 105mm was a medium tank , 1641 of which were used by the americans between 1944 and 1945.

Powered by a 450hp petrol engine the Medium M4 (Sherman IB) 105mm was capable of a road speed of 24mph and a cross country speed of 15mph. The 175 gallon fuel capacity gave the Medium M4 (Sherman IB) 105mm a road range of 120 miles

Based on the sherman chassis, the vehicle was armed with 3 light machine guns, a 105mm Howitzer M3A1 L/18 with a muzzle velocity of 310m/sec which was capable of penetrating 43mm of armour at 800metres
