The Gun Self-Propelled 17pdr (Avenger) A-30also known as Avenger was a self propelled anti tank vehicle used by the british between 1944 and 1945.

The vehicle was manned by a crew of 5 and was 2.92 metres wide, 8.1 metres long, 2.69 metres high and weighed 31 tonnes.

Powered by a hp petrol engine the Gun Self-Propelled 17pdr (Avenger) A-30 was capable of a road speed of 32mph and a cross country speed of 25mph.

Based on the sp gun chassis, the vehicle was armed with a Ordnance Q.F. 17pdr with a muzzle velocity of 950m/sec which was capable of penetrating 124mm of armour at 800metres
