The KV-85 was a heavy tank used by the russians between 1943 and 1945. The vehicle was manned by a crew of 5 and was 3.28 metres wide, 6.95 metres long, 2.69 metres high and weighed 46 tonnes. Powered by a 600hp petrol engine the KV-85 was capable of a road speed of 22mph and a cross country speed of 7mph. The 121 gallon fuel capacity gave the KV-85 a road range of 156 miles and a cross country range of 93 miles. Based on the kv chassis, the vehicle was armed with 3 light machine guns, a 85mm Gun M39 L/55 AA with a muzzle velocity of 800m/sec which was capable of penetrating 102mm of armour at 800metres
