The Strv m/42 was a light tank used by the swedish between 1943 and 1945. The vehicle was manned by a crew of 4 and was 2.46 metres wide, 6.15 metres long, 2.62 metres high and weighed 22.5 tonnes. Powered by a hp petrol engine the Strv m/42 was capable of a road speed of 27mph . Based on the light tank chassis, the vehicle was armed with 3 light machine guns, a 75mm Bofors L/54 with a muzzle velocity of 815m/sec which was capable of penetrating 93mm of armour at 800metres
