The 7.5cm Pak 40/3 L/46 Gw 38(t)r Ausf Malso known as Marder III was a self propelled anti tank vehicle , 975 of which were used by the germans between 1943 and 1945. The vehicle was manned by a crew of 4 and was 2.15 metres wide, 4.95 metres long, 2.48 metres high and weighed 10.5 tonnes. Powered by a 125hp petrol engine the 7.5cm Pak 40/3 L/46 Gw 38(t)r Ausf M was capable of a road speed of 25mph and a cross country speed of 15mph. The 7.5cm Pak 40/3 L/46 Gw 38(t)r Ausf M had a road range of 150 miles Based on the czech 38t chassis, the vehicle was armed with 1 light machine gun, a 7.5cm Pak 40 L/46 AP with a muzzle velocity of 792m/sec which was capable of penetrating 95mm of armour at 800metres
