The Grizzly I was a medium tank used by the canadians between 1943 and 1945. The vehicle was manned by a crew of 5 and was 2.66 metres wide, 6.18 metres long, 3.02 metres high and weighed 30.45 tonnes. Powered by a 350hp petrol engine the Grizzly I was capable of a road speed of 24mph and a cross country speed of 17mph. The 175 gallon fuel capacity gave the Grizzly I a road range of 120 miles Based on the sherman chassis, the vehicle was armed with 3 light machine guns, a 75mm Gun M3 L/40 with a muzzle velocity of 619m/sec which was capable of penetrating 69mm of armour at 800metres
