The SU-76i was a self propelled artillery vehicle used by the russians between 1942 and 1945.
The vehicle was manned by a crew of 4 and was 2.95 metres wide, 5.54 metres long, 2.38 metres high and weighed 22.5 tonnes.
Powered by a hp petrol engine the SU-76i was capable of a road speed of 25mph and a cross country speed of 11mph. The SU-76i had a road range of 96 miles
Based on the sp gun chassis, the vehicle was armed with a 76.2mm Gun ZIS-3 L/42 with a muzzle velocity of 680m/sec which was capable of penetrating 72mm of armour at 800metres |
