The SU-76 was a self propelled artillery vehicle used by the russians between 1942 and 1945. The vehicle was manned by a crew of 4 and was 2.74 metres wide, 5.08 metres long, 2.12 metres high and weighed 10.9 tonnes. Powered by a 150hp petrol engine the SU-76 was capable of a road speed of 29mph and a cross country speed of 19mph. The SU-76 had a road range of 220 miles Based on the sp gun chassis, the vehicle was armed with a 76.2mm Gun ZIS-3 L/42 with a muzzle velocity of 680m/sec which was capable of penetrating 72mm of armour at 800metres
