The Ram Mk II was a medium tank , 1899 of which were used by the canadians between 1942 and 1943. The vehicle was manned by a crew of 5 and was 2.79 metres wide, 5.85 metres long, 2.69 metres high and weighed 29.55 tonnes. Powered by a 400hp petrol engine the Ram Mk II was capable of a road speed of 25mph and a cross country speed of 20mph. The 175 gallon fuel capacity gave the Ram Mk II a road range of 144 miles Based on the ram chassis, the vehicle was armed with 3 light machine guns, a Ordnance Q.F. 6pdr 7cwt MKII MKIV with a muzzle velocity of 900m/sec which was capable of penetrating 75mm of armour at 800metres
