The T-40 Amphibious was a light tank , 41 of which were used by the russians between 1941 and 1945.
The vehicle was manned by a crew of 2 and was 2.35 metres wide, 4.31 metres long, 1.99 metres high and weighed 6.2 tonnes.
Powered by a 85hp petrol engine the T-40 Amphibious was capable of a road speed of 26mph and a cross country speed of 17mph. The 45 gallon fuel capacity gave the T-40 Amphibious a road range of 210 miles and a cross country range of 100 miles.
Based on the light tank chassis, the vehicle was armed with 1 light machine gun. |
