The PzKpfw II Ausf calso known as Panzer II was a light tank , 83 of which were used by the germans between 1937 and 1945. The vehicle was manned by a crew of 3 and was 2.22 metres wide, 4.81 metres long, 1.99 metres high and weighed 8.9 tonnes. Powered by a 140hp petrol engine the PzKpfw II Ausf c was capable of a road speed of 25mph and a cross country speed of 11mph. The PzKpfw II Ausf c had a road range of 125 miles Based on the pzkpfw ii chassis, the vehicle was armed with 1 light machine gun, a 2.0cm Kwk 30 L/55 with a muzzle velocity of 899m/sec which was capable of penetrating 18mm of armour at 800metres
