The PzKpfw I Ausf B ohne Aufbaualso known as Panzer I was a recovery vehicle , 164 of which were used by the germans between 1936 and 1940. The vehicle was manned by a crew of 2 and was 2.09 metres wide, 4.52 metres long, 1.72 metres high and weighed 5.8 tonnes. Powered by a 100hp petrol engine the PzKpfw I Ausf B ohne Aufbau was capable of a road speed of 25mph and a cross country speed of 11mph. The PzKpfw I Ausf B ohne Aufbau had a road range of 106 miles The vehicle was based on the pzkpfw i chassis and was unarmed.
