The Char Leger FCM-36 was a light tank , 100 of which were used by the french between 1936 and 1945.
The vehicle was manned by a crew of 2 and was 2.15 metres wide, 4.49 metres long, 2.21 metres high and weighed 12 tonnes.
Powered by a 91hp petrol engine the Char Leger FCM-36 was capable of a road speed of 15mph .
Based on the light tank chassis, the vehicle was armed with 1 light machine gun, a 37 mm SA M1918 L/21 with a muzzle velocity of 388m/sec which was capable of penetrating 13mm of armour at 800metres |
