The AMR35 (Renault Type ZT) was a light tank , 70 of which were used by the french between 1935 and 1945. The vehicle was manned by a crew of 2 and was 1.64 metres wide, 3.88 metres long, 1.9 metres high and weighed 6.5 tonnes. Powered by a 85hp petrol engine the AMR35 (Renault Type ZT) was capable of a road speed of 34mph and a cross country speed of 18mph. The AMR35 (Renault Type ZT) had a road range of 124 miles Based on the light tank chassis, the vehicle was armed with a C.L. de 25 antichar SA-L mle1934 L/72 with a muzzle velocity of 918m/sec which was capable of penetrating 35mm of armour at 800metres
