The T-27 was a light tank , 2540 of which were used by the russians between 1931 and 1941.
The vehicle was manned by a crew of 2 and was 1.85 metres wide, 2.62 metres long, 1.38 metres high and weighed 1.7 tonnes.
Powered by a 22hp petrol engine the T-27 was capable of a road speed of 28mph and a cross country speed of 20mph. The 15 gallon fuel capacity gave the T-27 a road range of 100 miles and a cross country range of 42 miles.
Based on the light tank chassis, the vehicle was armed with 1 light machine gun. |
