The Vickers Mk I was a medium tank used by the british between 1924 and 1945. The vehicle was manned by a crew of 5 and was 2.8 metres wide, 5.38 metres long, 2.85 metres high and weighed 11.7 tonnes. Powered by a 90hp petrol engine the Vickers Mk I was capable of a road speed of 15mph . Based on the medium tank chassis, the vehicle was armed with 6 light machine guns, a Ordnance Q.F. 2pdr with a muzzle velocity of 792m/sec which was capable of penetrating 47mm of armour at 800metres
